Turnitin have reported (at 2.18 pm) that TurnitinUK is suffering a service outage, and that this is being investigated as a priority by their engineers. We will update this blog when we have any further information.
Turnitin have reported some difficulties with their login processes between 11.37pm Weds 23rd Oct and 6am Thurs 24th Oct which would have prevented users from logging in and / or accessing the Turnitin service through Blackboard. This has now been resolved and Turnitin is available as normal.

We apologise for any issues experienced with Turnitin following our Blackboard upgrade. The service has been restored.
Turnitin have announced that their service will be unavailable, due to essential maintenance work, between 3 pm and 9 pm on Saturday 5 August. No submissions or grading will be possible during this time. We therefore advise that submission deadlines be set outside this window, and that you plan marking schedules accordingly.
Turnitin are reporting a service degradation that may lead to slowness when using Turnitin, particularly when attempting to view an Originality Report or to use GradeMark. Turnitin’s own status reports can be viewed here, and we will also update this blog with further information as we have it.
Turnitin have reported that the slowdown affecting their service was corrected by 4 pm on 8 May, and the service is now operating normally again. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

There are currently problems with the Peermark service meaning assignments cannot be created. The service provider are aware of this error and are working towards a solution, hopefully within the next couple of days.
